1. BB Creams and Facial Moisturizers needed - got any feedback?
2. Go read this book and let me know what you think.
3. Let's bring back cheap prices for lobsters, m'kay?
On an exciting side note, please go check out a little 'best of the web' post I'm being featured in here. This is a really neat site full of great blogs, fashion & beauty, home stuff, and even some info on pets! And they do a charming feature every week that has lots of new blogs to go and take a peek at. So go find a new favorite blog! Thank you Susan, for featuring me! I'm certainly honored! =)
Have a great day!

Another great TL Maggie! And I love your random facts!
ReplyDeleteJust put that book on hold at the library! = )
Marshmallows are so yummy! Those start shapes look very fun. Have you tried using skin care designed for sensitive skin? I have skin a lot like yours, and the more gentle stuff I use, the better my skin does.
ReplyDeleteI like in the Midwest, so unfortunately lobster is always expensive here.
ReplyDelete1. Try Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer with SPF. I've been using it for years and LOVE it! It's a bit expensive, but the bottle seriously lasts almost a whole year and I use that sucker twice a day (morning & night). Do you have a Keihl's by you? Ask them for samples... they're really good at giving out samples AND they'll give you several so you can try it out for a while. Let me know if you don't have a Kiehl's by you... I'm headed to the mall this weekend and will pick up samples for you.
ReplyDelete2. You already read it, but yes, I nominated you for a Getting to Know You Award and a Liebster Award. I say do both like I did!
3. Yay... have a great weekend!
I'm back. I forgot to tell you... check to see if anything you've used lately has sulfate as an ingredient. That might be drying out your skin and causing you to break out. Totally happened to me when I experimented with an inexpensive facial wash! ok... dueces!!
ReplyDeleteI have similar skin to yours, and I use the CVS brand of Olay's Daily Moisturizer for for sensitive skin with spf 15. It comes in a white bottle with a pump and it is about $7. If you don't have CVS, other stores make generic brands too, but I like CVS best! For some reason, I like the generic brand better than Olay...weird, right? I think Olay smells too much like sunscreen. I also recommend washing your face with a gentle cleanser at night, instead of in the morning. I feel like my face is dirtier at night after wearing makeup all day and being out and about sweating and stuff. I used to wash both morning and night, but now I use just a washcloth and water in the shower in the morning--sometimes I use whatever soap is left on my washcloth too, but it sounds like your skin might be too sensitive for that. I think the washcloth helps because it is still gentle, but rough enough to sloth of the dead skin. I only need to moisturize at night, but the lotion is light enough that you could wear it to bed too!
ReplyDeleteI meant to say, I only moisturize in the morning! Blah!
